It Wasn't Meant to Be

I did not see Obama here:

Nor did I see this:

I was not here:

I was half-way down the block on the right, anxiously awaiting my Obama moment that never came. Because he went left instead of straight.

Oh, well. The good news is, my girls won't be jealous.

*Updated to add: I saw the motorcade! On his departure, we were able to get close enough to see that. I didn't see Obama, but I'm pretty sure he was in there somewhere!

I bet he saw you though.

When I lived near DC I used to see the motorcade every now and then. It's quite a sight! You're not supposed to know which vehicle the Prez is in though but it's fun to try.

Fun, thanks for sharing. Obama is quickly becoming my favorite Prez!

I saw Nikita Krushev (not sure of spelling) when he was in Pittsburgh in the 60s! He drove right past my house waving from a convertible with the top down. I guess he knew nobody in Pittsburgh would want to pop him off!

And then, there was Jimmy Carter on W.57th street in NYC in the 70s...

And I cannot forget MEETING Michele Obama in October when she came to Pittsburgh to stump...now THAT was the coolest of all!

Your day will come :P
